Own execution from approved customer requirements through manufacturing, site readiness, shipment, installation, commissioning, and turnover. Technical leadership owns architecture and design acceptance. You own the program that turns the approved design into delivered infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • The integrated master schedule across design, approvals, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, site work, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
  • The criteria for design release, manufacturing release, shipment release, energization, commissioning, and customer acceptance.
  • Design transfer and production readiness with the contract manufacturer, then factory acceptance testing and shipment release.
  • Site readiness, logistics, lifting, installation, startup, integrated testing, punch list closure, and turnover.
  • The action, risk, decision, change, and cost records, and a weekly report that states schedule, cost, risk, and decisions plainly.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years delivering data centers, mission critical facilities, industrial power systems, or comparable capital equipment programs.
  • Direct responsibility for at least one project from early planning through manufacturing or construction, commissioning, and customer turnover.
  • Experience with factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing, or equivalent formal acceptance processes.
  • Able to read one line diagrams, equipment submittals, site plans, MEP drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, and test procedures.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel regularly.

You are the engineering reviewer on our deals. You gather and check site data, verify proposed configurations, evaluate supplier quotations, and draft the technical sections of our proposals. Every technical statement we put in front of a customer has to be supportable. You make sure it is.

Responsibilities

  • The site data request: utility service size and voltage, interconnection status, one-line diagrams, site and pad constraints, cooling constraints, network path, permitting status, and schedule drivers.
  • Configuration review: IT load against electrical capacity against cooling, redundancy level, generator sizing against step loads, service rating against connected load, voltage and frequency compatibility.
  • The technical sections of budgetary proposals, drafted from written inputs.
  • RFQ review of manufacturer and fabricator responses: completeness, technical compliance, exclusions, testing scope, and the link between schedule and payment.
  • The engineering seat on prospect and supplier calls, and the record of what still needs written confirmation.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years in data center facilities, power systems, or critical electrical infrastructure, including customer-facing technical work.
  • Working knowledge of low voltage distribution (480 V class) and medium voltage equipment through 35 kV class: switchboards, switchgear, transformers, generator integration.
  • Able to check compute loads against power and cooling: rack densities, heat rejection, airflow, and liquid cooling as used in current AI and HPC deployments.
  • Have written technical proposal, design-basis, or RFP and RFQ response content.
  • Comfortable with early stage: uneven workload, no support staff, checklists you build yourself.
